To investigate other teaching and learning systems in local community intermediate schools to see what their Health and PE programmes deliver. Travel aboard to see how overseas schools deliver compulsory PE within their junior schools. Investigate what other countries, regions and schools want their students to be able to do and believe is important with regards to physical activity once they finish school.
Kaiapoi Borough School
Undertake personal study to deepen my content knowledge of robotics at the year 7 and 8 level. The specific focus will be around the use of the "Lego Mindstorm EV3" robot and how to better teach, stimulate and engage students in this technological field.
Taradale High School
To research 'best practice' with regard to how digital technology can promote foster student engagement and improve achievement. I will explore the pedagogy around the use of digital technology in the classroom to enhance the learning experience and achievement, especially for our priority learners. I will also explore how they are being effectively used in other schools, to facilitate differentiated learning programmes that enable our priority learners, in particular to achieve success at Level 1 English.

Waimea College
Design a new course for the Natural Processes part of the year 13 Geography course, including a literature review of costal processes in Tasman Bay and the development of activities that reflect inquiry learning practices. Also, I would like to develop a class one note that would help deliver teaching and learning of this unit of work to the students. The aim of this would also be to share this with the other year 13 Geography classes and other schools within our region.
